‘Winter Guardians’ placed on holiday patrol
(CNS): The RCIPS is increasing the number of foot patrols by community police officers over the holidays as part of this year’s annual safety campaign. Operation Winter Guardian began Wednesday with more officers on the beat, intensified road enforcement operations, as well as crime and road safety education and awareness campaigns.

Daily positive COVID cases still high after 12 weeks
(CNS): There were another 161 positive cases of COVID-19 in the community on Monday from the 716 PCR tests over the previous day, according to the results released by Public Health on Tuesday evening. Chief Medical Officer Dr John Lee said they were no travellers among those testing positive.

Tourism centre planned for GT harbour front

PPM accuses PACT of choosing ‘massive borrowing’
