Cops net another suspect in gang beating

(CNS): Police have arrested a 39-year-old man from West Bay on suspicion of assault causing aggravated bodily harm in connection with a violent attack on a man on Birch Tree Hill Road on Tuesday night. The victim was badly beaten by a group of six other men at around 8pm near the EBO Laundromat in West Bay. The man, who was arrested on Thursday, is now the second suspect that police have apprehended in what is believed to be a gang related attack.

Police had also arrested a teenager on Wednesday over the beating, in one of a number gang related targeted operations.
