Burglars target WORC offices in Mary Street
(CNS): Burglars smashed a front window at the Workforce Opportunities and Residency Cayman (WORC) offices overnight and got into the government department on Mary Street, making off with undisclosed items. Police confirmed that the office was burgled overnight but they could not yet say what was taken as the investigation was still underway.
Rolling daily average COVID cases on the increase
(CNS): The seven-day rolling average for new cases of COVID-19 has increased to 40, the Public Health Department said Monday, after falling into the 20s earlier this month. Around 100 new cases were reported to officials this weekend. There are an estimated 478 active cases and three people are in hospital.

Cabinet held for first time on Little Cayman
(CNS): Members of the government’s inner circle enjoyed a three-day trip to Little Cayman last week to host both a caucus and a Cabinet meeting on the island. The official government meeting has never been held in Little Cayman before and the political trip included a number of other social events for the delegation.
