Man denies wounding victim with knuckle-duster

(CNS): Eduardo Gutierrez, from West Bay, will face trial in January in connection with a violent incident in the district earlier this year. Gutierrez pleaded not guilty on Friday to causing Kevin Brian grievous bodily harm during an altercation outside Eddie’s mini-mart on Birch Tree Hill Road in March using a knuckle-duster. Represented by defence attorney John Furniss, Gutierrez was bailed to return to court on 24 January for the trial, which was scheduled for three days.
