Armed men mug cyclist in East End
(CNS): Police are looking for two men who mugged a man who was riding his bike on Sea View Road in East End early on Thursday morning. A call was made to 911 that the cyclist was riding by Lover’s Wall when two masked men got out of a small car parked on the roadside. One of them brandished a hammer at the man on the bicycle, and the other had a knife.
The men robbed the victim of an undisclosed quantity of cash and fled the location in the car, heading west towards George Town. No one was injured during the incident.
Only a limited description of one of the robbers has been released. The suspect who was carrying the hammer was tall and wearing a light-coloured shirt and a hat.

This place has really gone to the dogs!
I don’t wish for anyone to be hurt, but I wouldn’t have been sorry to read that the cyclist zapped them in the face with wasp spray. Cyclist would probably have been charged and gone to jail, then sued in a Civil Suit for monetary damages.
Still, if something like that ever happens, I will rejoice, and contribute as much as I can toward their defence. Those of us who love this place and intend to live and die here have had more than enough of these dirtbags, whether they are imported or native. Dirtbags need to go, regardless of where they were born.
It took not one but two lazy turds to dream up this cyclist heist, and for what? Honestly, even our crooks aren’t smart enough to make a living out of their trade. Yet, somehow they remain elusive to this absentee “crackdown” police effort.
This does not appear random, but still disturbing.
This isn’t good for Cayman.
