(CNS): Police are investigating a report of a gun being pulled out during a fight at a nightclub over the holiday weekend. According to an RCIPS press release, officers were called to the Strand Entertainment Complex at about 1:30am on Monday about the altercation and the sighting of a firearm.

BT man charged with catalog of crimes
(CNS): A 33-year-old-man from Bodden Town has been charged with eight offences after he was arrested last week following the abduction of a woman from her George Town home. According to the RCIPS the crimes all relate to an incident with a woman he knew in October.
Civil servants learning to detect fraud
(CNS): Civil servants from four government ministries — the Ministry of Border Control and Labour; Ministry of Planning, Agriculture, Housing and Infrastructure; the Ministry of Home Affairs; and the Ministry of Investment, Innovation and Social Development — are currently in intense training workshops focused on detecting and preventing fraud, corruption and bribery.
