Victim assaulted in George Town home invasion
(CNS): A man was taken to hospital on Tuesday night after he was assaulted by an armed home invader. The police said that two masked men, dressed in black clothing and brandishing handguns, entered a home on Anthony Drive in George Town at around 9:50pm and demanded money. After assaulting the resident of the house with an abject, the masked robbers fled the scene empty handed. No shots were fired and no other details were offered by the RCIPS about the condition of the victim.

I’m đŸ’¯ certain I’ll be fine. I live my life more in line with Jesus teachings than those who believe in sky fairies because I’m not a prick who needs to use religion as a justification for bad behavior.
It is disingenuous, imo, to mix social issues with that of religion. I am aware that some of the most horrible atrocities in history were committed in the name of religion, but rarely at the direction of the religious dogma.
At the risk of angering my friends, I will say to you that it doesn’t matter if God is real in this instance. To call up God in opposition of cultural events is a false dichotomy. IF there is a God, we have no evidence that He directed this home invasion. If there is not a God, we have no evidence.
Give the religious smears a rest, please, and let us all work together to fight crime. Report suspicious people. Install cameras and security lights. Let’s make it more difficult for the belly-crawling slime to perpetrate their crimes against us.
“Wul, I reported a suspicious guy and nobody came.” That happens. Don’t give up. Don’t get numb to crime and accept it as a background of our experience. We are better than that, but we have to fight to stay better.
