Cayman News Service(CNS): A 28-year-old man from Bodden Town has been arrested for failing to provide a specimen and possession of cocaine with intent to supply after a crash on Shamrock Road on Thursday evening. The police were called to the scene of the two vehicle collision at about 8:30pm (14 July) not far from the Northward Road junction, where a Chevy Colorado and a Honda Acura travelling in opposite directions had crashed. Both of the men who were driving alone in the cars were transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

But police said the driver of the Honda was behaving suspiciously and he was arrested for failing to provide a breath specimen. His vehicle was searched and a white powdery substance resembling cocaine was subsequently recovered. The man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent and was taken into custody, where he remained over the weekend.
