No direct flughts should be going there. Forget the Cayman visa system which has been watered down due to pressure from JA since so many can now vote here. Let them go thru the US to get to Cayman.
Hmmm looks like this is only to cater to the travel market that uses MBJ as a hub, such as Europe the Friday and Monday schedule better as it also facilitated a weekend getaway to Mobay
Are they offer free life inusrance for travelers. Mo bay has gotten worse than ever. Such beautiful place that cant seem to find its way out of the war on it self.
@11:18am What airline offers free life insurance to its passengers? Seriously? Anywhere you go there is some level of crime.
I don’t travel to the USA because the amount of of gun violence there worries me. I cannot imagine just going to a shopping mall and being shot..not for me..I could never expect any airline to provide me free life insurance to travel there though…
Media, higher chance of getting shot in Cayman.
That went over your head so high you must have been on the flight at the time.
1st half was called “being sarcastic”
FYI am half jamican and know what my 2nd home has come to meny may down play what its like but meny more live in fare in there own home and area.
Cayman new mini bus service…lol
What in hell is CAL going Montego Bay for. To pay more landing fees to Ja.and wear and tear on the Planes landing and taking off.? Every Jamaicans wants to Come to Cayman will go to Kingston to catch CAL. Should be putting laws in place to restrict them from comimg Cayman and NOT making it easier . Why can’t the Government see they are ruining these islands.
Be careful what you wish for. I’m not sure you’ll enjoy your quality of life if all the jobs performed by immigrants were gone and needed to be filled by locals.
Will enjoy quality of income!
And quality of life. Will save millions on infrastructure needs if less on island.
let the cancellations and delayed flights begin!
cal is one huge expensive joke propped up by taxpayers money.
terrible reliability, terrible rewards, terrible planes, terrible fares, terrible in-flight service……
Yea, they were also terrible in 2004!
@1:40pm Seriously what era are you living in??…2004?? ..18 years ago.
Sometimes, people just need something negative to say..
@10:43pm..so you know about all of these negatives about Cayman Airways..How? You must be a glutton for punishment as it seems that you wouldn’t know these things if you weren’t utilizing their services. You have options, use them..
What a crazy schedule!
Only one day a week you can go to or return from Montego Bay. Wonder which whiz kid thought that up!
And perfectly designed for you to lose half a day on arrival and lag around hours before return departure if you’re going to an all inclusive resort but we all know KX schedules are based on tourism for cayman not to benefit locals traveling out.
Why no flights to (and from) Norman Manley Airport in Kingston, Jamaica?
Works for us, that is 6 full days of golf. More when the return flight gets delayed .
Welcome to Jam Rock !
Stupid and literate question not every one goes to Jamaica is a thief.
Bad form. Not everyone from Jamaica is up to something. Many great and law abiding citizens from Jamaica.
Name 1?
You think a country of millions exists with not one law abiding citizen?
Your disconnection from reality probably needs psychiatric attention.
Why not Port of Spain?
Only public airports in Jamaica are in Kingston and Montego Bay, whilst other airstrips are private.
Also, Port of Spain is in Trinidad. There is that.
You for real?
Because there is not sufficient demand for flights between Cayman and Trinidad. Trindad of course being the island where you can find the city of Port-of-Spain.
Will customs be checking the outbound luggage including for car parts in cereal boxes?
What about hidden items coming in from North America? Isn’t there a guest in our prison for something in a secret compartment in a suitcase? Don’t single out Jamaica, unless your willing to point fingers at others.
I am not singling out anyone. Customs checked the bag of the North American coming to Cayman. Do they ever check the bags going out of Cayman, even though it is commonly understood that some stolen goods are transported out?
Clearly said outbound luggage.
