Cayman’s climate change risk to be assessed
(CNS): Government has signed a deal with a UK-based environment agency to undertake a climate change risk assessment of the Cayman Islands. The project is being funded through the governor’s office and will be conducted by the Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (Cefas), a unit in the UK’s environment department, and local experts.
Over 60% of recent virus cases unvaccinated
(CNS): More than one third of the new cases of SARS-CoV-2 confirmed last week were fully vaccinated and 3% had received one dose. But 61% of those who contracted the virus during the week of 24-30 October were unvaccinated, according to information released Tuesday by Chief Nursing Officer Dr Hazel Brown.
