Missing 11-year-old girl found safe and well
(CNS) UPDATED: The RCIPS have confimed that the whereabouts of the 11-year-old girl reported missing Friday are now known, and that she is in good health. Azaria Jackson, from East End, had been missing from home since Friday, 9 February, when she left the schools’ sports day at the Annex Playfield in George Town, but the police did not receive a report that she was missing until a week later. At the time she was wearing a Cimboco blue t-shirt and black PE shorts.

Unless she was in the custody of her parents, and another with the consent of the parents – which seems unlikely given they reported her missing – an offence has surely been committed. Its illegal in Cayman to take a girl under the age of 16 from the custody of her parents or legal authority. Who had her all this time, and why haven’t they been charged?
Anywhere else in the world they would be facing wreckless endangerment, and or kidnapping.
Wonder why is sixteen years old is allowed to drink in bars ? Has they stopped asking for I.d .last days boy .
Surely, another one for the Ombudsmans’ Desk. All it should take is one concerned person to raise their hand.
So every parent in Cayman is terrified for their children and this is it for the story?
Who are the police charging in this case? Parents for neglect, or the abductors for failing to report her whereabouts?
What does it mean she was found safe? An 11 year old gone for a week doesn’t sound safe to me unless she was with her grandmother and then she wouldn’t count as missing. What was this safe place she was found? The police NEVER say where they find these kids. Why is that?
Because they can’t say anything or some other nitwit will yell at them for breaching confidentiality – it’s not the public’s business where she was found, so long as she is safe. Now let’s hope that social services get off their behinds and look into it.
What confidentiality? They said she was safe, not abused. Why is this not the public’s business? The police asked for public help.
Wake up Social Services. Who was harbouring this child? If she was back with family then they need investigating. As usual a child goes missing in Cayman and those harbouring her face absolutely no consequences.
She was at the agriculture show why did the family not report this sooner
How can anyone help if we cannot see her image? I’m sure for those who do not know her could not recognise her without knowing what she looks like ??.
More sickos per capital than anywhere in the world. How much more evidence is needed?
Someone clearly had their work permit renewal denied.
Sour grapes much?

I see this stuff happening in the international news too, the difference is people are held accountable when caught.
no-one that can pay gets their work permit denied.
If so, who’s fault is it that you’re broke?
Some information in this article is incorrect.
Clifton Hunter’s Sports Day was at Truman Bodden Sports Complex on Friday, February 2nd which would mean it’s been two weeks since she has been missing if it was only reported today Friday, February 16th.
She was also seen at the Agriculture Show on Wednesday, which if this was reported earlier she may have been found by now.
Who waits seven days to alert the police to a missing person?
Diogenes
An 11 year old missing person. Parents?
Mind boggling
Why is she only being reported missing after a week?
