(CNS): Lukus Mathieu Rivero, who was expecting to return to his home country when he was released from jail recently after serving time for drug possession, found himself back in prison facing charges relating to the possession of indecent images of children on his phone. The pictures were discovered by the police who were in possession of the phone in relation to the earlier case.

Rivero was arrested and charged following his release before he had a chance to leave the country.

On Friday, he pleaded guilty to having 17 Category A pictures showing penetrative sexual activity with pre-pubescent children, two indecent Category B photographs showing non-penetrative sexual activity and another four Category C indecent images of children.

He was remanded in custody and is due to be sentenced on 2 May.

I’d skip the jail part, not sure why our country should pay for this loser to live rent, TV, electricity, food & drink free while the rest of us struggle on with life trying to pay the bills and keep the lights on. Or go straight to execution and save on both jail and deportation costs. Absolute scum of society.

Let me guess, a 3 or 4 month sentence for being a perpetrator of one of the most despicable, heinous crime possible.

Sexual abuse is tolerated in the Cayman Islands.

And we kept him here feeding him, clothing him and giving him health care because…?? Send the reprobate back to his country with a letter for his country’s immigration, in his language, explaining that they should watch him because he is a dangerous pervert! Tax payers should not have to pay for depraved people if this is not their country.

Yes, but would they jail him? Consider how cons jail when they’ve been convicted of pedophilia or rape. Which is the worst punishment?

    Disgusting!

Cayman seems to be very light on PDF. How many higher ups are supporting or blackmailed by this evil? Time is telling.

How many Caymanian judges in our judiciary? How many Caymanian lawmakers deciding on these sentences? How do Caymanians get the “credit” for foreigners running their judiciary from top to bottom, giving other foreigners lenient sentencing for heinous crimes?

        Speak to your governor.

Watch the judge give him 3 months in prison. This is absolutely disgusting and I don’t believe there is any true rehabilitation for demons likes this. The best way to ensure communities and children remain safe from these monsters is to turn them in to eunuchs!
