Cops on hunt for three stolen cars
(CNS): The police are asking the public for help finding three stolen vehicles taken over a seven day period at the end of last month from West Bay and George Town. Residents are asked to be on the lookout for a 1995 blue Honda Civic Ferio registration 123-596, a 2005 Black Chevy Epica registration 153-514 and a 2004 Silver Nissan Sunny registration 161-667, which were all stolen between 21 and 28 March.
Police are keen to hear from anyone with information about the stolen cars as they thieves may have taken them to use in other crimes. The vehicles fitting the descriptions provided may be parked somewhere, abandoned or being driven on the road and the registrations may have been changed to deceive the authorities.
While car thefts were once almost unheard of in the Cayman Islands, these three cars were all taken in a matter of days.
The 1995 blue Honda Civic Ferio was reported stolen around 7:40am on Saturday, 21 March from an apartment complex on Newport Avenue, George Town.
The 2005 Black Chevy Epica registration was reported stolen less than a week later on Friday, 27 March at 11:00 am from Smith Cove in South Sound, George Town.
The 2004 Silver Nissan Sunny was also stolen sometime between 7:00am Friday, 27 March and 6:25pm Saturday, 28 March 2015 from an apartment complex on Mount Pleasant Road, West Bay.

Can’t you for once find something positive to say. If the police had released the information immediately after the incidents you and some others would still find something negative to say. Remember the life you save might be your own. If you don’t want to be part of the solution then shut up. You don’t know why the police didn’t seek the public’s help earlier or other reasons.
Normally the prelude to a big armed robbery. Can you say “getaway car”??
Seriously, the RCIP are a total and complete joke. The Keystone cops have nothing on them.
One car was stolen 12 days ago, and two were stolen 7 days ago. And NOW is when you advise the public and ask for help?
And you wonder why we have ZERO faith in your abilities to ‘protect and serve’?
Total incompetence.
I had to have enough time to repaint the cars , before the public was notified .
