Machete-wielding robber takes cash from NS shop

(CNS): Police are on the lookout for a man who robbed a North Side business last week and made off on foot with an undisclosed sum of money. At about 9:40pm on Friday, 20 September, the robber burst into the store on North Side Road, just west of the Frank Sound Road intersection wielding a machete and demanded cash from the workers. He then fled the location with cash and other items in an easterly direction towards the football field.

The suspect is described as being over 6’ tall, of slim build, wearing dark clothing, a black mask and gloves.

No one was injured during the incident and the matter is currently under investigation by Bodden Town CID.

    Sounds like the same crackhead that robbed both A La Kebabs. How exactly are the RCIPS on the lookout? What does that mean? Can’t even tell us the name of the store robbed to give info!

    Primitive. import 3rd world get 3rd world with machete wielding nuts.
    Machete attacks are so frequent perhaps have a 5 year ban from expat countries found guilty individuals were imported. Replace with expat countries not having this violent pattern. There should be statistics made public on which countries these machete attacks are coming from.

        Then look at those individuals and the extremely high correlation of being raised by a single parent mother. Root cause of much of Cayman problems is dead beat fathers not being there for their kids in disciplining them , financial support and acting as a positive role model for them. This is something politicians don’t have the balls to address
