Teacher removed from primary school for misconduct
(CNS): The Department of Education Services (DES) has confirmed that a staff member was removed Monday, less than a week after the start of the new term, from the Prospect Primary School in relation to an allegation of misconduct.
CNS understands that the individual was a teacher who was not new to the school. Officials provided few details but claimed to have taken swift action in response to the incident.
According to a press release, the DES referred the matter to the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) for investigation in the immediate wake of the report of misconduct involving a young student. Officials said this was the usual protocol when addressing child protection allegations involving staff.
DES Acting Director Elroy Bryan said the member of staff implicated in the alleged incident was removed from the school pending the outcome of the investigations to ensure the welfare of the students.
“We recognise and appreciate the concerns of parents, guardians, and the community and share their dedication to ensuring the safety and well-being of our students,” he said.
“We will continue to prioritise the welfare of students and maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards any misconduct. Our educators are responsible for nurturing and educating our children, and we expect them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and care,” he added.

A lunatic religious exorcist principal and now this. Parents if you have the money, save the future of this country by sending your children to private school, because the public schools do nothing but produce future criminals and religious lunatics, no real learning occurs.

See the other day where some badminded person reported a delivery driver who sat in HIS car eating HIS lunch about stealing food, but turned out the person had just got their food but reported him for eating theirs. A delivery driver isn’t going to pay a lawyer to take you to court.
She is often reckless with her platform just to drive clicks, and foofools like us keep going back to it. Unfortunately (not that I don’t like unna but) CNS is the only other viable competitor.

At the very least CMR is interfering with the investigation. She should be charged criminally but it seems everyone is scared to deal with her…everyone except me! Make her try that foolishness with me and she will learn who she can bully and scandal.

Why has the comments for this article turned in a “CMR/CMR host bashing contest”?
While you may disagree with the CMR host to quickly post people’s photo and name before any charges are laid, the sad truth is because of the size of this island, a lot of people already know who it is and she is probably of the opinion that it is already in the public domain and she is free to post it.
She just adds the “allegedly” to it and she is within her legal rights to say whatever she wants, it is her opinion and sometimes more than an opinion supported with videos, pictures and personal testimony.
It is her platform and sometimes she has interesting segments and I just tune out from the other segments that I don’t want to listen to.
You don’t have to listen to her, follow her page or read her articles.
I don’t think people are afraid of her, the sad truth is the majority of people actually tune in to listen to her for the gossip!! Including the politicians, government workers and others.
What has she done that you consider her a bully?
She calls out whatever BS she sees and sometimes people are upset because they have been featured but that doesn’t make her a bully.
If you ask a lot of people, they feel like she is their voice, she is a big advocate for a sex-offender registry, big advocate for protecting children and increasing sentencing laws for child molesters, rapists etc, she assists solving petty crimes just to mention a few.
I am not sure why you think she is a “wanna-be American” because I think she lived in America for quite some time and I believe she was even married to an American but didn’t seem to have any interest in being an American citizen and she always claims she is “proud to be Caymanian to the the bone.”
I also think you calling her “trashy and low class” says more about you than it does her. That just makes you look emotional and petty.
I don’t always agree with things she says but she also does a lot of good for people on the island and I feel she may not be everyone’s cup of tea but are any of us?

Do you dispute that she hasn’t done good things for people? If so, I think a lot of people will disagree with you because she doesn’t publicize all that she does.
I don’t agree with everything she says or does but I am not emotional and ranting about it like you.
Sometimes she gets it wrong and I acknowledge the point that in some cases she can cause harm with her inaccuracies but calm down before you have a stroke.

I would definitely call an adult who used their online platform with thousands of followers, to publicly berate, insult, sexualize and swear at a troubled underaged girl, a bully.

She has been criminally charged on several occasions, and been the subject of civil suits. The criminal prosecutions have been a lamentable failure and she skates through the civil ones with minimal apparent damage.

As for advertisers, I wouldn’t know who to avoid without looking at the hellscape that is CMR. That said, Popeyes, Burger King and their ilk aren’t my preferred choices anyhow!
