Fuel suppliers can’t hike prices on speculation

LP highway project to cut GT traffic jams
(CNS): Phase 2 of the Linford Pierson Highway widening project gets underway on Monday. The National Roads Authority said that when it’s finished it will “significantly reduce traffic” on Huldah Avenue and Crewe Road during the evening peak hour, while cutting traffic queues and travel times for the morning commute.

Another patient dies as a result of COVID-19
(CNS): UPDATED: There have now been 22 deaths in the Cayman Islands where COVID-19 was a factor after another patient died in hospital Wednesday. News of this latest death was revealed Thursday evening but there were no details about the individual’s age, pre-existing health issues, when they were admitted or their vaccination status.
