Prowler charged over attempted car break-ins

(CNS): A suspect who police caught trying to break into cars parked in a residential area off Walkers Road earlier this week has been charged with a list of offences and was due in court Friday. The 40-year-old man from George Town was charged with criminal trespass, attempted theft and going equipped to steal. Officers collared the prowler at around 1:30am Tuesday morning (1 November) in Coemer Drive after residents reported seeing him trying to open car doors.
