Driver arrested for DUI in wake of lunchtime crash
(CNS): A 25-year-old driver was arrested for driving drunk on Thursday following a lunchtime single vehicle smash off Shamrock Road. The crash happened just after 1:00pm on the afternoon of 8 January when the driver lost control of the car, which came off the road and overturned near to Coral Bay Village. Police said the driver, who is from West Bay, was not seriously injured and was bailed following his arrested for driving under the influence.

If only this was a couple of weeks earlier it would have easily been prevented by the RCIPS’s annual “enforce some of the rules of the road campaign”. Too bad they can only do that for a few weeks a year.
