New Miss Cayman crowned for 2016

Miss Cayman Islands Monyque Brooks

(CNS): Monyque Brooks (24) from West Bay was crowned the new Miss Cayman Islands on Saturday at the annual beauty pageant at the Lions Centre. Brooks also won Best Gown, Best Smile and Miss Photogenic. The runners up were Erin Hislop and Schilo Scott. However, the People’s Choice Award went to a contestant totally overlooked by the judges, Samantha Rea from George Town, who not only failed to make the top three in the judges eyes but also missed out on the other in contest titles.
