Premeir Alden McLaughlin delivers his Christmas message
(CNS): Premier Alden McLaughlin said that Christmas was not just a time to celebrate the birth of Christ but to celebrate each other and the accomplishments of the year, as well as a time to rest and rejuvenate for the year ahead, as he joined the other elected members as they expressed their Christmas messages to their constituents on video. Opposition Leader Ezzard Miller urged the community to remember those on society’s margins, the jobless, the sick and those struggling to make ends meet, as well as those who are far from home and their families.
House Speaker McKeeva Bush said that he saw the Christmas miracle as a message of hope and urged people to be grateful for friends and family as well our free country.

Sir, when you outright lie to people, they are bound to lose respect after a while. The Beneficial Ownership register was to remain a private register, now we hear that it will be public by 2023. Lies and more lies.
Truthfully, there won’t be many Cayman Islands Exempt Holding Companies beyond July 2019, so what does it matter? About 79,000 exempt companies are on the chopping block in the next 7 months. #realitycheck
Christmas is indeed a special time of the year but through the hell of a year its been for many the last thing we want to hear is a scripted message from some of these representatives. These are our leaders and it is standard protocol for all leaders to address their nations.
Thank you David for your sentiments on your faith. We too in our household are Christian and join you in your warm greetings and how great that you let God take control of your life.
With the culture chewing up and spitting out our youth and culture let us all pray for Cayman, leaders and all citizens.
Let us all strive to be good citizens that give back to our country and set good examples to those around us.

Christmas is for everyone. Jesus the Christ, the Son of the Living God shed His Divinity to walk among us as one of us.
He felt our pain and our frustration especially with the religious and government communities.
Even today, organised religion and government quenches His message of selfless humility.
Just to prove that He wasn’t blowing smoke, He allowed Himself to be handled dishonestly and unrighteously by fallible mankind.
It is time for everyone to re-evaluate what they will do with Jesus, the Christ. For me, He lives in my heart. I love Him and will always do so.
He saved me from so much and he has taught me the value of truth and service.
I am not perfect by any means, but I know that God is merciful to those that seek Him.
To our politicians and theologians, I am not asking for a theocracy, but just a society where truth is valued and we do unto others as we would have them do unto us.
