Eh?! What prompts an 11 year old child to run away? It does not take quantum physics to figure out her daily environment is to be investigated. Our statistics on child abuse and neglect are staggering per capita. We all need to take a more active role in protecting our islands’ children.

you are right…but collectively, including parents need to protect our islands children…many of the issues begin within the home where some parents feel as if they can’t punish their children when they act up without being reported to the police…and these kids that are always running away, check who their parents are and the kind of environment they come from and continue to live in…children also need to be held accountable for their actions….some of these kids are living better than many but are just damn bad….because they know there aren’t any consequences they continue to do the same foolishness over and over.
