Suspicious bag causes alert at GAB
(CNS) UPDATED: Police were out in force Wednesday afternoon at the Government Administration Building in George Town and closed off parts of Elgin Avenue, which has now been confirmed was the result of a suspicions bag that had been left outside the building since Tuesday. Officials said a dynamic risk assessment was undertaken by fire crews and police and the area secured before the item was found not to be hazardous. The general public was also reminded to report any suspicious packages at the earliest opportunity.

Nice to hear that for once our government employees were “dynamic”.
Dynamic risk assessment my ass!!
What the hell were they going to do if it were an explosive device?
No police bomb squad, no military ordnance disposal and definitely no bomb disposal robots.
And most of all, no common sense.
Three letters bobo. R U N !
Not very dynamic given they didn’t respond for over 24 hours – just imagine if this had of been a real threat. The bomb would have gone off before anyone had a clue what had hit them. Pretty shocking really.
Just suppose it was a threat? Building security did their job. If it was a threat and someone got hurt or worse you lot would be complaining that they didn’t do their job. Similar things happen in other countries daily and no one makes a mockery of it. Thank God you all don’t represent Main stream Cayman. This site seems to attract the professional complainers…. honestly man. Get a life
You won’t find anyone there at that time of the day anyway.
Someone’s week old lunch used to take a day from work and government to pretend that they are still relevant or important in their last few days.
Mmm St Patties day, that should be a national holiday
Cmon guys, the fart wasn’t /that/ bad.
Idiots all 11 of you.
All this to leave office early for St patties day
Maybe it contsined patties
St Patricks Day or St. Paddies Day – Patties are for eating.
