Black Honda stolen from plaza parking lot

1998 Black Honda Accord

(CNS): Local car thieves returned to their vehicle of choice at the weekend, when a 1998 black Honda Accord, registration #170 275, was taken from a parking lot at the rear of Cayman Falls on the West Bay Road on Saturday. The car was last seen at 4:30pm but was gone by 11pm that night. The vehicle (pictured left) is described as having an extra pair of LED lights on the front bumper next to the registration plate.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.

Anonymous tips can be provided to the RCIPS Confidential Tip Line at 949-7777, or  website. Tips can also be submitted anonymously via the Miami-based call centre of Crime Stoppers at 800-8477(TIPS), or online.

    these cars being stolen will go on for a long time because for some strange reason the police or owners of these cars never says how the cars are being stolen is it carelessness by the owners leaving there keys is the cars hot wired?

    The tint looks pretty dark. It may not be visible to the police. It seems that they do not see such vehicles even when they are parked in broad daylight in the police station’s own car park. Bad news for the owner. I hope the public can help them find it.

    Why dont people just install a kill switch on their old Honda (or any car for that matter)? It’s like 50 cents and installs in minutes.

      How about cops set up bait cars and do their job so I don’t have to figure out how to install a killswitch.
