GT man charged with killing cyclist

(CNS) UPDATED: Wilfred Myles Jr (28) was remanded in custody after appearing in Summary Court Wednesday, charged with causing the death of Ignacio Kirzner (21) in a hit-and-run on Monday morning. Kirzner was riding to work along North Church Street on a bicycle at around 5:30am when he was hit by a car. Myles, who is accused of fleeing the scene, was arrested later that morning. He has been charged with a long list of traffic offences in addition to the serious charge of causing death by dangerous driving.

The George Town man has also been charged with driving whilst disqualified, the unlawful use of a vehicle, using an unlicensed vehicle and using an uninspected vehicle.
