GT man denies GBH charges stemming from fight

(CNS): Courtney Ryan (25) appeared in Grand Court on Friday and pleaded not guilty to two GBH charges in connection with a serious stabbing that happened at a home in Watler’s Road earlier this year. Ryan is accused of puncturing the lung of an older man, whom he knew, during a fight just before midnight on Wednesday, 30 January. Following Ryan’s denial of the charges, a trial date was set for August and the local man was bailed until the hearing.
