Three Jamaicans face serious charges after drug bust

(CNS): Three Jamaican nationals who were rounded up during a police operation off the coast of South Sound last week face serious charges following their arrest. The men, aged 34, 40, and 45, have been charged with illegal landing, importation of ganja, possession of ganja with intent to supply, possession of an unlicensed firearm, and possession of an unlicensed firearm (ammunition), charges which carry a mandatory minimum term of ten years in jail after trial. All three men were scheduled to appear in court Monday.
