Court hears man had over 800 indecent pictures of children

(CNS): A 24-year-old man from George Town has been charged with possessing more than 800 pornographic images of children, distributing images via WhatsApp and also faces a charge of indecent assault. Michell Gambao-Garcia appeared in Summary Court Tuesday via video link but he has not yet answered any of the charges. He opted to have his case heard in the Grand Court and he was remanded in custody to HMP Northward until his next appearance.

Gambao-Garcia was originally charged by police in May following an investigation by the RCIPS Family Support Unit.
