(CNS): A 38-year-old man from George Town appeared in court on Wednesday following charges in connection with a nail salon robbery on Godfrey Nixon Way in the capital on the night of 10 July. Paul Myles has been charged with robbery and possession of an imitation firearm in connection with the armed heist at Elegant Nails, and the case has been transmitted to the Grand Court. Myles was arrested last week along with the secretary to the C4C George Town MLAs, Roy McTaggart and Winston Connolly.

They were also arrested in connection with an armed home invasion in Raleigh Quay in June but no charges have been brought in that case yet.
The MLAs’ PA, Christine Rae-Smith, has not been charged with any offences at this point and was released on police bail, officials have confirmed. Following his court appearance Myles was remanded in custody until his next appearance later this month.
