However, in December 2015 he left the party over government’s position to allow gay spouses as dependents of work permit holders, and joined the opposition.

He also acquired Blue Bison Software Consultants Limited, the Cayman Islands only locally owned software development business and he successfully managed this enterprise up until shortly before his election to public office.
