Elections Office clears all 50 candidates
(CNS): All of the 50 candidates who were nominated on Monday have been given the green light by the Elections Office to run, confirming that all of them meet the qualifying criteria. This means that all 19 seats are being contested. Election officials said that due diligence checks revealed that all candidates met the qualifications in section 61 of the Cayman Islands Constitution.
