Police officer arrested for cruelty to dog
(CNS): A serving police officer has been arrested following an investigation by the Department of Agriculture on allegations of animal cruelty. In a press release issued Thursday, the RCIPS said that the 26-year-old police constable, from George Town, was arrested last week and is now on bail regarding an incident last December. The officer is accused of delaying veterinary treatment for his pet dog after it was struck by a car.
