In Jamaica we know that owning a Honda comes with the inherent risk of being stolen, and scrapped for parts. It seems as though the parts are nowadays by being sourced from Cayman.

The RCIP should be able to arrest this situation by simply working with their counterparts in Customs…… check every thing headed to Jamaica.

    Ridiculous.

Why is it that the Jamaican Police Service doesn’t state if anything is taken from these cars, ie parts. Too close to home I guess.

I wonder why the Government aren’t looking into the crime issue more seriously to know who are commiting these crimes and where and how these vehicles are being disposed of . Or the Islands has gotten so big that they can’t control it no longer .
Maybe if people stop buying Honda vehicles maybe the car thieft would end , because that seems to be the hot model and make .
What are the most prominent make cars in the neighboring countries? That could answer some questions about the issues .
