Mac issued them over 1,500 status grants in 2004, he knew that he and his party would be guaranteed the Jamaican votes. A quota now has to be in put in place to not hire anymore Jamaicans or Filipinos unless the persons are well educated. I’m 5th generational Caymanian and sick of seeing our islands turn in to Little Kingston, enough is enough. Also Caymanians stop idolizing their stupid gangster cultute, get a good job, stay out of trouble, assist in your community, and be proud to be Caymanian 🇫🇰❤️, I sure am.

Caymanians are gone – its mainly Jamaicans with status. Tell me whereeee are the Caymanians? i dont see them in the super markets, restaurants or at Smith’s Cove? All i see on this island everywhere i turn is jamaicans. They are currently the administrative arm of Government and when they become the elected arm its over for this place. Its gonna be like South Africa where you need private security with guns.

We have allowed Jamaicans to take over, so we have to live with the culture they’ve brought with them.
Want to be a part of the solution.?
      Don’t import/employ Jamaicans.

It’s almost always the same few well-known corners, funnily enough. Probably just a coincidence about the foreign demographic that occupies those areas though. 🙄

Chopped in the head with a machete. This is medieval 3rd world craziness. There should be a public database of these machete primitive violence attacks and which nationalities the offenders are from. Never heard of Filipinos in Cayman doing these insane attacks.

Good idea to get a registry for all acts of violence. But please do note that Filipinos of late have been running high stats on the sexual offenses in Cayman list. Which, to me, is just as barbaric. If not – worse.

What do you mean by sexual offenses? Sexual assault? Prostitution? What? Never heard of Filipinos doing anything on island other than being peaceful very reliable workers that save up socking away money and send back to the Philippines with the currency conversion is a lot of money there for their families.

The reason we have knife attacks is because guns are difficult to obtain thank goodness.

Has anyone studied the rate of violent crime with the rate of population increase? Have violent crimes per capita increased decreased or remain the same over the last, say, 20 years?

Want to cite some facts or sources to support that comment? I did a quick search on CNS, and all the cases that came up were either clearly Caymanian or clearly not Filipinos. You may be right – but without some evidence I am going to assume you just made it up.

Yes keep searching through the news articles… another one just today June 20th machete dark complexion = not Filipino. What’s my research? From living on island for a long time and first hand observation while reading Cayman news updates for years. This is not rocket science
