Manhunt fails to find home intruder
(CNS): Police are investigating a report of a daylight home intruder after a resident of Palm Dale found a strange man in their house at around 10:40am on Wednesday. When the occupant of the home discovered the trespasser in their house, they called the police right away. But despite their immediate response, the man had fled before officers arrived.
An extensive man-hunt in the area, with the help of the K-9 Unit, failed to track down the intruder. However, no one was injured and nothing was reported stolen from the house.
Officers said the matter remains under investigation.
Maybe it was a woman.
He probably lived nearby and just ran home before the police arrived.
Our political and law enforcement leadership continue to be at the root of the problem as no meaningful steps have been taken to ensure that law abiding citizens can adequately protect themselves and their families from the every worsening violent crime problems that we are facing in the Cayman Islands.
Oh yea, its like the wild west out here…he said in a very sarcastic tone.
America stands by that same belief and look how well that worked out for them.
RIP to all those innocent children and bystanders and patrons who all have fallen victims to those same so called law abiding citizens.
Crime here is bad enough, please dont make it any worse.
Knock knock, whose there? George………..George who? GEORGE TOWNER!!!
Well, I suppose the perp and the victim are both fortunate, given that any action in their defence by the victim would probably have gotten them arrested. 🙁
And that my friend is the problem.
Someone defending their own home, family and property against a criminal who may or may not have a concealed weapon can be put on trial.
That should be a very rare exception. For example someone beats an 8 year old with a baseball bat for stealing a mango off their tree.
Otherwise, if you attack someone or break into their home you only have yourself to blame if you get hurt.
