(CNS): A 29-year-old man from Bodden Town was due to appear in court Monday, having been charged with two counts of wounding with intent in relation to a stabbing earlier this month in George Town. Around 4:00am on Saturday, 16 March, a man and woman were involved in an altercation with a group of men as they left a bar on Mary Street. The man and woman both received knife wounds and were taken to the hospital in private cars, according to an RCIPS release at the time. Both victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released.

CNS if he’s in court he can name him! so why don’t you??

CNS: First of all, I forgot to close the comments, which I’ll do now, but I can answer this one. The details for this story were provided by the RCIPS in one their releases, in which he was not named. The reason we didn’t was simply because we have a very small staff, which makes it impossible to do everything without going completely mad. Wendy writes all the articles for this site, which makes her the most prolific journalist on the island by far, but there are only so many hours in a day and she has to prioratise. If she catches this case in court, she will name him.
