Suspected drug dealers arrested on highway

(CNS): A 35-year-old man from West Bay and a 30-year-old woman from George Town have been arrested for possession with intent to supply both cocaine and ganja after they were stopped by police on the Esterley Tibbetts Highway. Police said that at around 10:45am Tuesday the car was stopped near the Strand Plaza. When the vehicle was searched officers found an undisclosed quantity of cocaine.

During a search later at a house in West Bay following the arrest, the police found more cocaine and ganja but have not said how much.  The suspects remain in custody.

    Undisclosed amount you say eh? Methinks that could be construed as covering one’s pre-planned misdeeds when it ‘magically vanishes’ from the evidence container in the not to distant future. Say it aint so.

    How dare you 9:24am suggest our foreign police are in some way corrupt and would take a bribe. When they are merely here to “reflect the diversity of our community” Remember the Place is Safe and Secure!!!! If you read Carl Williams the commissioner of Police for Jamaica’s Constabulary farewell resignation speech about his regrets on Corruption in the JCF it gives a peek into what exactly our British protectors are trying to do to these islands we call the Cayman Islands.

    I guess they were stepping on the real dealers turf.. guess next time they will make sure to pay the police stipend before selling.
