Texas tourist dies in ocean off 7MB

(CNS): The ocean has claimed another victim after a 78-year-old American man was pulled from the water yesterday, 7 April. Just before 11am Thursday police and emergency personnel responded to a report of an unresponsive man in the water on Seven Mile Beach near Royal Palms. The man, who was identified as Cuong Trinh from Texas, was taken to the Cayman Islands Hospital in George Town, where he was pronounced dead at 11:30am. He is the tenth person to lose his life in Cayman waters so far this year.

    This is truly a tradgedy . 10th person this year. It’s only April for gods sake. People that come to visit our lovely island need to understand and respect the waters that surround us. They are unforgiving be it calm or rough. There is no fault to be lay on anyone with any of this. Sometimes it’s just your time…….rest easy friend. RIP
