Residents nab burglary suspect in Rock Hole
(CNS): Police arrested a 43-year-old man from Bodden Town Sunday night at the scene of a burglary in Rock Hole Road, George Town. Residents at a property detained the suspect and told police he had stolen cash from inside their house. Police said he is currently in custody at George Town Police Station. In a separate incident, police nabbed another suspect on Friday afternoon when he was caught red-handed in the Smith Road area of the capital.
Police said they received a call around 4:15PM on 29 January of a burglary-in-progress at a home on Pond Road. A 42-year-old man from George Town was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with burglary. He was expected to appear in court Monday.
