Traffic delayed by ice cream truck and Chevy crash
(CNS): Commuter traffic was disrupted on Wednesday afternoon after a Chevrolet and ice cream truck collided on South Church Street, near Denham Thompson Way by Sand Cay apartments. An RCIPS spokesperson said one person was injured in the crash, though not seriously. However, traffic was snarled up and was diverted onto Walkers Road. South Church Street was blocked in both directions and was not expected to be cleared until around 5:30pm. Drivers traveling from George Town along South Church Street were warned of the diversion at Webster Estates, though residents living near the site of the smash were being allowed through.
