Cayman News Service(CNS): Commuter traffic was disrupted on Wednesday afternoon after a Chevrolet and ice cream truck collided on South Church Street, near Denham Thompson Way by Sand Cay apartments. An RCIPS spokesperson said one person was injured in the crash, though not seriously. However, traffic was snarled up and was diverted onto Walkers Road.  South Church Street was blocked in both directions and was not expected to be cleared until around 5:30pm. Drivers traveling from George Town along South Church Street were warned of the diversion at Webster Estates, though residents living near the site of the smash were being allowed through.

Which Ice Cream truck? The one that plays the van’s stereo as loud as he can to avoid having to hear that stupid children’s’ song played all day all while talking on the phone and steering the van with one hand?
