Police pick up Donnie Ray Connor’s bike the day after he was killed, April 2015

(CNS): Anastasia Watson (23) pleaded not guilty Friday to causing the death by dangerous driving of Kimberly Bush (23) in a crash in North Side last year. Watson was driving a silver BMW in the early morning hours of Wednesday 15 April on Rum Point Road when it came off the road and crashed into a concrete wall. According to the police report at the time, Bush, who was trapped in the passenger seat, was found dead by police when they arrived at the scene. Watson, who was injured in the collision and taken to hospital, was arrested on suspicion of DUI at the time.

She was bailed to return to court in June in order to confirm a trial date for this summer.

Meanwhile, Nicholas Tibbetts (25), an immigration officer from Bodden Town who is accused of killing Donnie Ray Connor in a hit and run in George Town in April last year, has still not answered the charges him as his legal team continue to discuss the details with prosecutors.

Tibbetts, who appeared in court Friday, is accused of knocking Connor off his bicycle on Linford Pearson Highway in the early hours of Thursday 23 April and then fleeing the scene. The case was adjourned for two weeks, when he is expected to enter a plea.
