Police charge George Town man with GBH

Cayman News Service(CNS): A 34-year-old man from George Town has been charged with wounding (inflicting grievous bodily harm) following his arrest in the wake of an altercation in School Road in the early morning hours of 11 January. He is accused of stabbing another man during the incident. The victim, who was stabbed in the stomach, has undergone surgery and is in a stable condition at the Cayman Islands Hospital. The suspect was due to appear in court later on Wednesday.
