Woman arrested at courthouse over ganja find

(CNS): A West Bay woman who turned up at the George Town courthouse with substance suspected to be ganja was arrested on Wednesday, police have said. The drugs were found on the 53-year-old woman during the security check at around 10:45am on 19 August by police as she entered the court building and she was placed on police bail. In a separate incident on Friday morning, the police dealt with a woman under the mental health act. She was taken to hospital after she removed all of her clothes and swam naked in the George Town harbour.
