Ganja haul washes up at Beach Bay
(CNS): Ten packages of compressed and wrapped ganja washed up on a Bodden Town beach this week, police have confirmed. On Monday, 29 August, at around 1pm police received information about a suspicious package on the beach in the Beach Bay area of the district, the RCIPS said. They sent officers to the scene, who recovered the packages, which were wrapped in some kind of sacking. Police have not disclosed the exact quantity or street value of what appears to be a significant amount of drugs.
Following the discovery, the Joint Marine Unit carried out further searches along the Spotts and South Sound coastline, but no further packages were located.
No arrests have been made in relation to the drug haul.
Thank goodness it was found before it got the chance to get onto the hands of our young people.
The square tuna are running strong this time of year. ???
Save the bales!
Strange that none ever washes up on the beach in West Bay. Could it be that the locals there firmly believe in the adage “finders keepers”?.
Or could it just possibly be that the prevailing winds take floating material away from land?
If you think that was the only bale to wash up on the South coast…….
i am going to the beach this weekend.
N im down to my last j 🙁
Why am I never on the beach where this stuff washes up????
Tons of tea can be brewed!
