(CNS): Four migrants are currently in Customs and Border Control custody after landing on Cayman Brac at around 6:50 Sunday morning, having travelled from Cuba in a rickety wooden canoe. The men arrived in Spot Bay and ended their journey before being processed in accordance with CBC protocols. This is the fourth migrant boat to arrive in Cayman waters in the last month.

Damn Cubans stay home and work to make your country better. Lazy asses don’t even want to learn English.

By the mercy of some higher power, these lucky four somehow found the Brac by row boat. A boat that had only a couple dozen more miles left in it, from the looks of it. Pity this incredible human feat of endurance is rewarded with detention and repatriation.

This is certainly what desperation and courage looks like.

Are we sure they travelled here on those canoes? Or were they and the toed canoe dropped off here?

In previous years the Bracers had consistently heard the sound of an engine before canoes appeared without engines. They reported they had ditched their failed engine. Right!

It is my belief that they were dropped off by a paid courier vessel.

You have to have some sympathy. How bad must it really be there (I don’t mean spending the weekend sipping mohitos at the roof bar in Parque Central!) to make this insane trip?
