(CNS): Two Bodden Town men, aged 26 and 27, have been charged with armed robbery following an incident in the district earlier this month. Police said the men were charged today with robbery and possession of an imitation firearm in connection with a street mugging on Saturday 18 June. Police had received a report from a member of the public that a robbery had taken place in the street in Bodden Town when a quantity of cash was stolen.

The suspects, who were armed with a gun, had escaped in a silver Honda Accord and local enquiries led to the arrest of two men, who were expected in court Monday.
