Missing 8-year-old boy now found, police say

(CNS): Elijah Downs (8), who was reported missing Wednesday, was found later that same night, apparently safe and well. Yesterday, the RCIPS launched a search operation to find the boy, described as a vulnerable member of the community. He was last seen leaving his home in Newlands around 3:40pm on 2 April. The RCIPS helicopter was deployed to help find the little boy, in addition to officers on the ground searching for him.
