Police seek owners of stolen loot
(CNS): The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service is asking members of the public to contact them regarding a treasure trove of goods, believed to be stolen, in the hopes of reuniting the items with their rightful owners. Police said the jewellery and electronics were recovered mostly during searches conducted under warrant. Police also urged people to discreetly mark their valuables or write down the make, model, serial number and take photos in the event that they are stolen, which would assist police in their investigations.
Anyone who believes some of the recovered items may belong to them should contact the police and either provide pictures of the items when first purchased or being worn by owner, receipts of purchase, serial numbers or descriptions of unique markings on the item.
All of the items recovered are on the RCIPS website here.
If anyone recognizes any of the items displayed below and would like to view items call DC 344 GOMES at 926-2965 or DC 198 MENDEZ at 916-1621. You can also contact these officers if you have any information about the stolen goods.

it is so good for the rcips to be putting people’s jewelry that may have so much sentimental value to them out on the news for owners to identify what could have been stolen by some no good dirty thief or burglar. people work too hard to attain certain things in life for it to just be snatched up quickly by some bum that probably just gets up each day chasing a high..they’re either weeded up, coked up, or something up; chasing UP the wrong tree is what i say! God don’t like ugly and karma is a b*tch that won’t let um get away.
