There are a limited number of vehicles on the Brac , a possible solution is have adequate police numbers go door-to-door and demand to inspect every vehicle in the household . It will be damaged and have forensic evidence.

Everyone needs to be in prayer for these families that are involved. We are hearing whispers of boys that panicked and ran from this scene. People need to be forgiving, loving and know that it could be them. We have all made youthful mistakes. This small community is in shock. People in the Government need to provide counseling now as the blame and shame could mar and damage forever good families.

If no one has come forward yet, they never will. I hope that this won’t be an unsolved crime. The killer needs to come forward.

1159 pm? You are using words like killer. An accident is an accident and they happen everywhere. This could have been you going down the road and a person could have walked into your car or it could have been easy for a bicycle to ride into your car. Sounds to me like no one deliberately killed anyone. The road is dark and it could have happened to any person.

Most people would stop to help the person, a killer wouldn’t care and drive off.

Would you have left the scene in your hypothetical situation? Maybe it’s late, dark and nobody is around to see. Would you have left the scene, having figured that the person is already dead, why should you pay? That is a killer attitude.

Accidents happen, and this was almost certainly an accident caused by someone who was driving drunk, panicked and left the scene. When the coverup began by hiding their vehicle, and days now afterward they haven’t come forward, that made them a killer.

In regard to you 11:59 pm. Word on the street says that two men were arrested. Bail was put up and nothing more is going to be said. Accident report and no more. Move on nothing there from you all in CB. We in GC here we have our own situations.

The Cayman roads have become extremely dangerous over the past 20 years. While a combination of illegal drugs, alcohol and undiagnosed mental illness are most likely at the root of the problem we should all still try to be more considerate of other road users as we go about our business on a daily basis.

Or… lack of enforcing laws has created a free for all on the roads. Add in DWI and it’s a recipe for disaster.
