Cayman News Service(CNS): Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fight on Saturday night which resulted in both men being stabbed, one of whom sustained serious injuries. Police said that at around 10:30pm on 23 February police and other emergency services responded to a 911 call about a serious assault in which a man had been attacked by another man while he was driving on North Sound Road searching for parking near an unnamed bar in the area.

Police said that the two men, who know each other, had an argument, during which one of the men attacked the other while he was in his vehicle and still driving. However, the driver stopped his vehicle and got out. The two men started fighting and both received what appear to be stab wounds, police said.

The driver of the vehicle received three stab wounds and was considered to be in stable but serious condition. The other man was treated and later released.

The matter is under investigation by the police and anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
